SPINACH DIP WITH ITALIAN FLAIR

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 envelope Italian Salad Dressing mix
  • 1 package (10 oz.) frozen chopped spinach, thawed and well drained
  • 1/2 cup chopped red pepper (optional)
  • 1 can (8 oz.) water chestnuts, drained and chopped (optional)
  • round sourdough bread shell

Directions

  • Mix mayonnaise, sour cream and salad dressing mix until well blended. Add spinach, red pepper and water chestnuts and mix well. Refrigerate several hours or until chilled. Serve in bread shell with bread pieces and assorted cut vegetables or chips
