Spinach and Cream Cheese Biscuit Turnovers
1/2 package of bacon, sliced thin
1/2 cup of chopped onion
1/2 cup butter
10-oz package of spinach, chopped and squeezed dry
4-oz soft cream cheese
1/4 cup parm cheese
10-oz can of flaky boscuits
1 Tbs melted butter
2 tsp sesame seeds
Seperate the biscuits and flatten out with your hand of the bottom of a glass.
Fry the bacon and onion.
Then add the remaining ingredients in given order. Mix well and cool than add 1 tsp of the mixture to each flattened out biscuit.
Fold over and crimp the edges using a fork to seal.
Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with the sesame seeds.
Bake at 350 for about 12 minutes.
* You may want to drain off any excessive oil in the pan after you have cooked the bacon and onion before adding in the remaining ingredients~ Janie
