Steak and Rice with Little Carrots
2 boxes Rice-a-Roni beef flavor
1 lb tenderized round steak, cut into bite-sized strips
1/2 C flour
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper
2 Tb oil
4 tbs butter
Mix flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Dredge beef strips in flour mixture, brown in hot oil in large pan. Remove beef from pan, set aside.
Prepare Rice-a-Roni in pan according to package directions. Cook until slightly dry.
Stir in steak strips, serve hot.

This recipe is one that my mom made as a quick and easy meal when I was younger. I now make it for my boys, who absolutely love it. My youngest is the one who started calling it "Steak and Rice with Little Carrots".
