STEWED SWEET APPLES

Ingredients

  • 3 cups Sweet Apples
  • 2/3 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 1/2 tablespoon Flour
  • 2 cups Water
  • 1/4 cup Condensed Milk
  • Cinnamon
  • Ice Cream or Whipped Cream

Directions

  • Wash, pare & core apples
  • Cut Apples into thin slices lengthwise
  • Add water and cook until apples are soft but not mushy
  • Aprox 5 minutes before apples are done add Sugar and Salt
  • Add flour and stir
  • Cook until slightly thickened stirring constantly
  • Remove from heat
  • Pour into serving dish & sprinkle with Cinnamon
  • Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream.
