Strawberry French Toast

Why I Love This Recipe
I love French Toast!! And I love even more, all the wonderful ways you can change it. This recipe I got from a cookbook I found in a Christian book store that only cost $3.99. The book in called' "The Christian Bed & Breakfast Cookbook" and the editor is Rebecca Germany.
Ingredients You'll Need
2 large strawberries (fresh or frozen)
4 ozs. cream cheese
1/2 c. powdered sugar
2 large eggs
1 Tb. milk
1/8 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 tsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. vanilla
8 slices bread
Directions
Put the first three ingredients into a blender & mix on high until smooth.
Beat eggs, milk, cinnamon, sugar & vanilla with a whisk until well mixed. Spread all 8 slices of bread with the strawberry mixture. Put 2 slices of bread together sandwich style with the strawberry mixture in the middle. Dip each of the 4 sandwiches in the egg mixture. Pour oil on a hot griddle, 350 degrees, & put the toast in the oil, cooking until golden brown, turning once. Serve with either maple syrup or fresh berries and whipped cream.
