  • 4lbs of strawberries (5c crushed)
  • 7 cups sugar
  • 1 box pectin


  • hull strawberries
  • fill water bath and pre-heat on medium heat
  • crush the strawberried in layers to get 5 cups crushed
  • place in big stock pot
  • measure out sugar into a seperate bowl
  • stir pectin in strawberries quickly
  • turn heat on to high and bring to boil stirring constantly
  • Add sugar quickly and stir constantly until it boils
  • boil for 1 min
  • remove from heat and skim off any foam
  • ladle in jars process 10 min
