- Preparation Time:
- 2 large lemons
- 3/4 - 1 cup sugar
- 6 - 7 cups water
- 2 cups strawberries
- 1/8 - 1/4 cup sugar
- 1. Slice lemons as thinly as possible. Mix slices with 3/4-1 cup sugar in large bowl. Mash with potato masher. Pour into pitcher and add water and sugar to taste. Strain out seeds and rinds.
- 2. Combine strawberries with 1/8-1/4 cup sugar and mash (or process until desired consistency.) Add more sugar if needed.
- 3. To serve, pour lemonade into glass and add several tablespoons of strawberry mixture. (or just mix it all together in the pitcher, tasting as you go.)
