Strawberry Pretzel Dessert

Serves 12 | Prep Time 30 minutes | Cook Time


•2 cups crushed pretzels
•3/4 cup melted butter
•3 tbsp sugar
•• Mix crushed pretzels, sugar and butter
•• Press into a 9x13-inch glass dish
•• Bake at 400 degrees F. for 8 minutes
•• Cool
•Filling: Sometimes I double this (only if you like a thick cream layer).
•1 8 oz package cream cheese, softened
•1 cup sugar
•1 12 oz package Cool Whip, thawed
•• Mix together cream cheese and sugar until smooth
•• Fold in Cool Whip
•• Spread on top of cooled crust
•Topping :
•1 large box strawberry gelatin
•2 16 oz package frozen strawberries with syrup
•2 cups boiling water
•1 small can crushed pineapple, drained

1.• Dissolve gelatin in boiling water

2.• Add frozen strawberries -- the hot water will thaw them

3.• stir in pineapples

4.• Pour mixture onto cream cheese layer

5.• Refrigerate for 2 hours

Pairs Well With


This is my daughters favorite dessert. This is a little different than most of the recipes. It has an addition of pineapple in the jello.
