Strawberry Salad with Poppy Seed Dressing

Fruit  Lettuce/Vegetable  Salad 

• Romaine
• Bermuda Onion
• Strawberries
• DRESSING :
• 1/2 cup Hellman's mayo
• 1/2 cup sugar
• 1/4 cup milk
• 2 Tbsp fresh lemon juice
• 2 Tbsp poppy seeds

Tear the lettuce onto a serving platter

Slice the onion into strips

Slice the strawberries and toss some with some of the onion into the lettuce

Sprinkle remaining berries and onion on top

For the dressing, just whisk everything together and pour it over the salad - I usually don't end up using all of the dressing

I have no idea where this recipe originated, but my Mom made it for me a few years back and I loved it. Since moving to NY with my sister and her family, the guys ask for it all the time! We had to stop serving the salad before the entree because they would eat so much of it, they weren't hungry for the meal!
