Why I Love This Recipe
I'm not real crazy about all the prep work involved in Stir-Fry recipes, but I do enjoy the actual Stir-Fry part, and of course the eating part!LOL This one is quick, with minimal prep and is really tasty!
Ingredients You'll Need
1/2 lb. beef (top round), thinly sliced
2 Tb. soy sauce
1 tsp. sugar
1 Tb. cornstarch
1/2 tsp. salt
1 Tb. sherry
2 Tb. oil ( I use olive oil because it is much better for you and I like the added hint of flavor it gives to this recipe.)
1 pkg. frozen green beans
Directions
Prepare the marinade of soy sauce, sugar, cornstarch, salt and sherry. Marinate meat. Heat wok or large, heavy skillet. Add 2 Tb. oil and sauté beef for a few seconds. Prepare beans according to pkg. directions, but don't cook them all the way. Let them keep just a bit of their crunch! Add beans to meat with the water they were cooked in. Simmer a few minutes. Serve hot over rice or noodles.
