  • Preparation Time:

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 cup cooked rice
  • 1 tbsp parsley, finely cut
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp tomato paste
  • 1 medium sized onion, minced
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp basil
  • pinch of ground cloves
  • pinch of cayenne pepper
  • 1 garlic clove, smashed, minced
  • pinch of salt
  • pinch celery salt
  • pinch of cardamom
  • 2 tbsps of oil, for frying

  • Make big hambuger patties. Set aside. Mix the rest of the ingredients together. Place 1 tbsp of the mixture in the center of each hamburger. Roll up hamburger into itself, closing up all edges so that the meat covers the rice mixture completely. Fry the patties up. Be sure to keep the mixture inside. If you find it too hot, cut out the cayenne pepper.

Something else from my mother's recipes. This one's very yummy. Great for outdoor parties.
