1/2 pound ground beef
1/2 pound hot breakfast sausage
1/2 cup crushed french fried onions
1 onion, minced
2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1/2 teaspoon dried marjoram
2 tablespoon minced garlic
salt and ground black pepper to taste
24 peeled onion, peeled
2 tablespoons butter
1 jar chili sauce
1 Tbsp hot red chili puree
Combine beef, sausage, fried onions, eggs, onion, parsley, marjoram, garlic, salt, and pepper in a large bowl; mix with your hands until evenly combined. Divide the mixture into kiwi-sized ball. Flatten the balls and enclose a small pearl onion inside and completely cover with meat, making back into ball.
Melt the butter in a large skillet. Fry meatballs in the melted butter until browned.
Mix chili sauce and puree and pour over meatballs.
