1 pkg. bacon
1-8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 lb. fresh mushrooms,
1 clove garlic, minced
3 bunches green onion
pepper, garlic powder, onion powder to taste
Fry bacon until crispy or bake the bacon on parchment paper in a 350* oven about 15 or so minutes until crispy.
Remove bacon from pan and place on napkins to drain and absorb the oil.
Wash the mushrooms and remove the stems.
Chop the stems and green onions and saute in a pan with the minced garlic.
Let cream cheese soften to room temperature or microwave a few seconds to help soften.
Crumble bacon into the cream cheese.
Add the mushroom stem, onion, and garlic saute mixture to the cream cheese also.
Add spices and bacon drippings if needed to thin mixture a bit.
Pile the cream cheese mixture into each mushroom cap.
Place on a cookie sheet under broiler for 2-3 minutes until lightly brown and mushrooms softens.
