SWEDISH APPLE PIE

Ingredients

  • 9" pie crust
  • sliced apples
  • sugar and cinnamon
  • 1/2 stick butter (melted)
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour 1 egg
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts
  • a pinch of salt

Directions

  • Fill a 9" pie plate with sliced apples.
  • Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon as desired.
  • Set aside.
  • Mix 1/2 stick butter (melted), 1 c. sugar, 1 c. flour, 1 egg, 1/2 c. chopped nuts and a pinch of salt. Crumble over top of apples mixture. Bake for 45 minutes on 350 degrees or until browned! Enjoy!

Notes

This is a wonderful from my mother in law. It is one of my favorite pies to make and it tastes great!
