SWEDISH MEAT BALLS

Ingredients

  •  1 lb. ground beef
  •  1 cup bread crumbs
  •  ½ cup milk
  •  1 egg
  •  ½ tsp salt
  •  1 small white onion
  • Sauce:
  •  1 ½ cup brown sugar
  •  ¾ cup white vinegar
  •  ¾ cup water
  •  1 tsp dry mustard

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 350F
  • Mix together ingredients in a bowl with plastic gloves. Spray casserole dish on bottom and sides. Combine ingredients for sauce and heat over medium heat till sugar is dissolved. Form balls and place in dish. Pour sauce over balls and bake for 40 minutes.
