SWEDISH MEATBALLS

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup milk, cream, meat broth or water
  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 minced onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon allspice

Directions

  • By hand or on medium speed with an electric misture, combine all ingredients.
  • Form into balls about 3/4" - 1 1/2" inches in diameter either by hand or use a tablespoon sized cookie scoop.
  • Makes 30-100 meatballs depending on how large they are.
