- 4 slices bacon
- 2 Tb. chopped onion
- 3 Tb. sugar
- 3 Tb. white vinegar
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 1/3 c. salad dressing
- Fry bacon 'til crisp and brown. Drain bacon and crumble into small pieces. Set aside.
- Sauté onion in bacon drippings 'til tender. Add sugar, vinegar and water; bring to boiling point. Cool. Combine mixture with salad dressing; beat 'til smooth. Stir in bacon chips. Chill. Store in refrigerator; storage time, 1 month.
