  • 1c (glutinous) rice, soaked for at lease a hour
  • but better overnight
  • 1/3c sugar
  • 1/4c water
  • 1c unsweetened cocout milk
  • 1tbl sesame seed (wht/blk)
  • tt salt


  • Drain soaked rice in cheese cloth
  • Place cheese cloth in steamer over boiling
  • water...cover for about 8min till rice is
  • fully tender Unwrap and cool for 1 min
  • While rice is cooking, combine 1/4c of
  • sugar with 1/4c water in sauce pan
  • bring to boil till disolved. Combine
  • mixture with coconut milk
  • toast Sesame seeds
  • Put rice in bowl and sprinkle with salt
  • Stir in coconut milk ( the rice should be
  • still be sticky when done...so you may not
  • have ta use all the milk)
