Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Grape jelly is the secret ingredient in these recipes. Serve meatballs over rice or noodles.
Ingredients You'll Need
1 cup soft bread crumbs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef
1/2 pound ground pork, optional
1 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
2 (12-ounce) bottles chili sauce
1/2 cup water
1 jar (10-ounce) grape jelly
8 ounces sour cream
hot cooked rice or noodles
Combine bread crumbs, milk, chopped onion, ground beef and pork, egg, salt, and pepper. Shape into 1-inch balls.
In a large saucepan or Dutch oven, combine chili sauce, water, and grape jelly.
Add meatballs and simmer gently for 1 hour.
Just before serving, stir in sour cream.
Serve sweet and sour meatballs over hot rice or noodles.
Spread hot mixture over the chips; sprinkle grated cheddar cheese on top and put in the oven for 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and browned.
