1 Slab rounded steak
-cut into 2 strips
1 bay leaf
1 meduim onion sliced
salt and pepper
1 whole tomatos- 1 can 28 oz
In tbsp oil or Crisco, brown the strips of steak
add the 1 large can of whole tomato squished up. Add bay leaf, onion and salt and pepper. Add 1/2 can of water.
Simmer til tender 4-6 hours ( may need to add water )
When done, thicken with 1/4 cup of flour mixed with 1/2 cup of water. turn heat on high and dribble in, stirring rapidly.
Serve over rice or egg noodles.

This Swiss Steak recipe came from my grandma Blue. It is my grandpas favorite lunch so she makes it alot which means i get to eat it alot. I eat it at least once every month and want to share it because its so good!
