RECIPE BACKSTORY

An elderly friend gave me her entire recipe collection, and I found this tucked in an old book. It was handwritten on a very yellowed piece of paper in fancy script, and she told me she thought it had been one of her grandmother's. I lost track of this recipe until recently, so I'm sharing it here. I haven't made these yet, but intend to very soon. Who needs measuring cups, anyway?! LOL

Very interesting. Thanks for sharing! I wonder how much batter I should put in each tin...not too much, I'd expect, or they'd be way too thick.

Wow I hope you post some more of these recipes. my aunt had a collection of these which unfortunately got tossed when her side of the family took over. Are there any recipes for homemade chocolates with fillings?
