TACO DIP

Ingredients

  •  1 lb. ground beef
  •  1 package taco seasoning
  •  Nature’s Seasoning to taste
  •  ½ diced green pepper
  •  ½ cup diced red pepper
  •  ½ diced red onion
  •  ½ cup sliced mushrooms
  •  2 minced garlic cloves
  •  2 cups diced tomatoes
  •  8 oz. cream cheese
  •  250 ml. sour cream
  •  1 cup tex mex grated cheese
  •  Dried parsley

Directions

  • Sauté onions and garlic in a wok. Add ground beef. Fry till cook thoroughly. Set aside in bowl on stove. Sauté veggies except for tomatoes. Return beef to pan. Add taco seasoning mixed with a bit of water. Sprinkle with nature’s seasoning. Simmer till moisture thickens. Then place in shallow dish. Combine cream cheese and sour cream. Top meat with tomatoes. Then spread cheese combo over tomatoes. Top with grated cheese and sprinkle with parsley. Broil @ 275F for 15-20 minutes or till cheese is melted.

  • ✔ Use low-fat cream cheese, sour cream and grated cheese
