INGREDIENTS

  • Cooking Time: 20
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.


Melt butter. Add sugar, then eggs. Add dry ingredients, vanilla, and nuts.


Spread in a greased 10x15 cookie sheet (with sides).


Bake 20 minutes. Sift powdered sugar over them and cut while warm.

wow this looks really amazing, but my brother is allergic to nuts, any suggestions on what to substitute for the pecans?
