  • 750 ml carton custard
  • 5 oz white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 large jam swiss roll, sliced (can be make)
  • 5 tbsp. Grand Marnier/orange juice (non-alcoholic for kids)
  • 18 oz fresh raspberries
  • 7 fl.oz double/whipping cream
  • white chocolate curls, decoration
  • icing sugar, decoration (optional)


  • 1. Heat custard, do not boil
  • 2. Stir in white chocolate until melted
  • 3. Place a layer of swiss roll in dish/bowl
  • 4. Sprinkle with chosen liquid
  • 5. Add a layer of custard and raspberries
  • 6. Repeat steps 3-5 ending in custard and raspberries, leaving room for cream topping
  • 7. Whip cream and gently layer on top of final custard layer
  • 8. Sprinkle on chocolate curls and sieve on icing sugar (if using)
  • 9. Keep chilled until serving


I think this recipe came from a magazine so I take little credit other than to share it for other's pleasure too. This is more of a summer desert though it is very tasty.
