Ten Minute Creamed Mustard Greens
1 15 ounce can mustard greens
2 tbsp butter or margarine
1/4 tsp pepper
2 tablespoons flour
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup milk
1/4 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp salt
Drain mustard greens in a colander, pressing with back of spoon to remove as much moisture as possible. Set aside.
Melt butter in saucepan, add flour; stir until flour is dissolvedPour in milk. Continue to stir until smooth. Add seasonings and cook until thickened.
Fold in drained greens. Heat slowly until piping hot. Serve at once.
