- Sauce Ingredients:
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ½ cup sake
- 4 tbsp mirin
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp of cornstarch dissolved in 3 tbsp of water
- ½ tsp of red pepper flakes
- Stir soy sauce, sake, mirin, and sugar together over medium heat until it reaches a gentle boil. Stir in the cornstarch slurry to thicken.
- Add the red pepper flakes and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Remove from heat.
