Teriyaki Sauce

Serves | Prep Time 5 | Cook Time 5

Ingredients

1 Cup Soy Sauce
1/2 Cup Water
4 TBSP Vermouth
3 TBSP and 1 TSP Brown Sugar
1/2 Cup Sugar
1 TBSP Minced Garlic
1 TBSP Minced Pickled Ginger


Combine Ingredients in a saucepan on medium heat and bring to a low simmer, stirring continuously.


Remove from heat and strain to remove garlic and ginger pieces.


Pour your sauce into a bottle, and you have two cups of delicious Teriyaki Sauce!

I have always loved Asian cooking, but sometimes, it gets a bit expensive to keep having to go out and buy more Teriyaki Sauce every time I want to make something. A wonderful and much more flavorful alternative is making it yourself! Both your family and your wallet will thank you after you use this amazing sauce instead of the bitter store bought stuff.
