A trip to the Hawaiian Islands inspired these fruity and flavorful turkey sliders. E ʻai ka-kou


  • 1.5 llbs ground turkey
  • 1/2 cup finely diced red onion
  • 1/4 diced pineapple
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup plain Panko bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons Teriyaki sauce


  • Combine ground turkey, red onion, diced pineapple, Panko bread crumbs
  • and Teriyaki sauce in a large bowl. Mix until completely blended. Form into small patties. These can either be grilled or pan fried. For extra flavor, brush with a hint of Teriyaki sauce while on the grill. Cook through and serve on sweet Hawaiian rolls and garnish with fruit.
