I am A potatoaholic. My friend Terri knows this and makes these for me for every occasion. I love, love, love this recipe. It is very easy and so very yummy. Not for those on a diet. You can easily make only half.


  • 5 lbs yukon gold potatoes sliced thin (I leave the skins on)
  • 1 med onion sliced thin
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 container Borsin cheese (can use Alouete with garlic and herbs)
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh ground nutmeg
  • Salt and pepper to taste
