Why I Love This Recipe
My mom brought this back from Hawaii. It's been a great source of comfort everytime I make it.
Ingredients You'll Need
Chicken...any part will do
FYI!! I do not measure this recipe.
Clean chicken how you want it.
Pour Soy sauce (1/2C - 1C) into large zip bag or mixing bowl.
Crush or grate 4 cloves of garlic.
Grate or slice ginger, about 4 slices of ginger. Powderd can be used!
1/4C or so of citrus juice.
Place chicken in soy mix.
let set about 15min
Heat skillet, grill, or oven. (skillet on med heat)
add about 1-2Tbsp olive oil
brown chicken quickly, when browned, add soy mix.
cook until done.
if grilling or baking, the flavor will not be as intense as frying it.
this is an easy, very flexable recipe. works well with beef and pork also
