TEXAS FRENCH TOAST

Ingredients

  • 6 slices Texas toast bread
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/8 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • powered sugar
  • maple syrup

Directions

  • Mix eggs, milk, cinnamon and sugar in bowl (large enough to flatly lay bread in). Dunk bread in egg mixture, covering or turning bread over to coat each side. Do not let bread soak in liquid. Heat butter in skillet. Place bread in skillet, cooking until lightly browned, turning to brown other side. Cut in half. Stack on plate overlaping and sprinkle with powered sugar and serve with maple syrup.
