"Are Your Cauliflower Wings Not Crispy enough? Do They End Up Turning Mushy? Looking Ahh YKWTFGO"

Why I Love This Recipe

This dish is versatile, quick and easy, and a crowd-pleaser. Also, good for when you're craving chicken wings but want to do your part in minimizing the mass slaughtering of natural animals. Feel free to top the fried cauliflower with your favorite BBQ sauce, Buffalo Sauce, or even add lemon pepper sprinkles to them!


Ingredients You'll Need

1 medium head cauliflower
Olive Oil
Vegetable Oil (for frying)
2 cup unbleached flour ( 1 cup for wet batter and 1 cup for dry batter)
1 cup dairy-free Panko Breadcrumbs
1 1/4 cup water
Paprika
Poultry Seasoning
Salt & Pepper to taste
Paprika


Directions

Rinse, Drain, & Cut Cauliflower into bite sized florets. Set aside in a mixing bowl.

Season bite sized florets with olive oil, poultry seasoning, paprika ( season enough to cover a the florets) and a pinch of salt and pepper in a bowl. Set seasoned florets aside.


In a separate bowl mix 1 cup unbleached flour with 1 1/4 cup water and stir until mixture is a pancake-like consistency. Add a tablespoon of poultry seasoning and pinch of salt and pepper to wet mixture.


In a bag or separate bowl, add 1 cup flour and 1 cup panko to make dry batter. Mix well


Dip seasoned florets into wet batter and then roll in dry mixture until heavily coated and breaded.


Heat deep fryer with enough vegetable oil to fry.


Add breaded florets into deep fryer. Fry until golden brown.


Remove fried florets and season with salt and pepper to taste or add your favorite sauce. I usually add Honey , BBQ and Lemon Pepper seasoning to mine.
