Why I Love This Recipe

The combination of ingredients are a bit strange but it tastes refreshing and light!


Ingredients You'll Need

2 tsp. grated lime rind
1 tsp. grated lemon rind
¼ cup fresh lime juice
1 Tblsp. fresh lemon juice
1 Tblsp. fish sauce
2 tsp. brown sugar
½ tsp. chopped serrano pepper
¼ tsp. crushed red pepper
1 tsp. olive oil
12 ounces ground turkey breast
1 Tblsp. chopped shallots
1 head green leaf lettuce


Directions

Combine first 8 ingredients, stirring with a whisk until sugar dissolves.


Heat oil in skillet over medium-high heat.


Add turkey and shallots. Saute 5 minutes or until turkey is done, stirring to crumble meat. Drizzle with juice mixture, stirring to coat. Serve with lettuce and steamed rice.
