Why I Love This Recipe

We needed more cookies so the kids started to join. This was between 2001-2004. We make these every year for our cookie platters.

Ingredients You'll Need

1/4 pound butter
1/4 pound margarine
1 6 ounce package chocolate chips
2 cups peanut butter
1 1/2 pounds confectioners' sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 ounce melted paraffin wax

Directions

Cream together the butter, margarine, vanilla, 1 cup peanut butter and 1 cup sugar. Mix well. Carefully blend in the remaining cup of the peanut butter and sugar.

Put in refrigerator for several hours to harden up. Form into balls the size of large marbles. Melt the chocolate pieces and paraffin in a double boiler. Dip the balls in chocolate using a tooth pick to dip with. Place on wax paper to dry or in candy wrappers.
