Toad In The Whole

I got this recipe from the March 2008 issue of WWE mag. It comes from William Regal

 


INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb. of sausge links
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tbsp. butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tsp. pepper

DIRECTIONS

In a pan, fry the sausages until they are slightly brown in a casserole dish.



Next, place milk, eggs, flour, salt, pepper, and butter in a blender and blend until smooth.



Pour batter over sausages and bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 40 min. or until batter becomes golden brown.

We haven't made Toad In The Whole for a long time, which originated in the UK, but is a very popular dish in Australia.
