- Cooking Time:
- Preparation Time:
- 1 C. sugar
- 1 C. butter
- 2 T. water
- 1 T. white syrup
- pinch of salt
- Cook above ingredients to hard crack stage, stirring all the time.
- Pour over slivered almonds onto buttered pan.
- Cut into squares while warm, then pour melted milk chocolate bar over all.
NotesThis is the first recipe I've posted prior to making the recipe and knowing it is a good one. However, this recipe is one I plan to try this holiday season. I found it in an old community cookbook and it has to be good because the lady who provided the recipe was an excellent cook.
