Tomato Sauce with Basil made in microwave
28 oz can of crushed tomatoes
2 tbsp Olive oil
5 cloves garlic
2 tbsp chopped basil leaves
1 tbsp tomato paste
In a stone ware or a Corning dish uncovered cook in the microwave (1200 Watts) a content of 28 oz can of crushed tomatoes with 2 T+ olive oil and 5 cloves garlic ( mashed with 2 t salt) for 6 minutes. Then whisk in 2 T chopped basil leaves and 1 T tomato paste. Cook on high for 3 more minutes again uncovered.
