Triple-Nut Diamonds

Serves 4 dozen | Prep Time 10 minutes | Cook Time 30 minutes + chilling ti


1 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup cold butter, divided
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 tbsp honey
1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
2/3 cup each chopped pecans, walnuts, and almonds

Line a greased 9-inch square baking pan with foil

Grease the foil

Set aside

In a bowl, combine the flour and sugar

Cut in 1/4 cup cold butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs

Press into the prepared pan

Bake at 350 F for 10 minutes

In a saucepan, heat the brown sugar, honey, and the remaining butter until bubbly

Boil for one minute

Remove from the heat

Stir in the cream and the nuts

Pour over the crust

Bake for 16-20 minutes longer or until the surface is bubbly

Cool on a wire rack

Refrigerate for 30 minutes

Using the foil, lift the bars out of the pan

Cut into diamonds
