Tuiles- almond lace cookies
4 tbsp butter, softened
2/3 cup sugar, granulated
2 egg whites
4 tbsp flour
1 cup almonds, finely ground
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Cream sugar and butter together. Whisk in egg whites and then remainder of ingredients.
Grease a baking sheet and drop 1 tbsp of mix on baking sheet.
Spread thin in round shapes and place into a 375 degree oven for about 8-10 minutes.
When the cookies are light golden brown remove from oven and allow to sit for a minute.
With a spatula remove cookies from pan and allow to cool on wire rack.
Shape into different forms while still warm.
