TUNA CASSEROLE

Ingredients

  • 1 can white tuna
  • 1 can low-fat cream of mushroom soup
  • 2 cups low-fat sour cream (500 ml container)
  • 1 Cup peas and carrots (other other vegetables of your choice)
  • 1/2 Tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 Tablespoon lemon juice
  • Approx. 3 Cups cooked whole-wheat elbow pasta
  • 2 Cups shredded marble cheese
  • 1 Cup crushed soda crackers (or crackers of your choice)

Directions

  • 1. Preheat oven to 400F (200C)
  • 2. Grease cake pan or casserole dish with oil
  • 3. Combine soup, sour cream, garlic, lemon juice, veggies, and tuna
  • 4. Fold-in cooked noodles
  • 5. Pour into pan and spread evenly
  • 6. Sprinkle cheese and crackes on top
  • 7. Bake for 20 minutes or until bubbly and lightly browned
