  • 4 Tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • 4 Tablespoons oil
  • 2 Tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon dry mustard
  • dash white pepper
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 6 oz. can white tuna, drained
  • 1/2 cup sliced celery
  • 2 Tablespoons sliced green onion
  • 1 cup cubed cantaloupe
  • 1 cup cubed honeydew
  • 1 cup red grapes
  • 1 cup chopped Granny Smith apple


  • In small bowl, combine vinegar, oil, sugar, salt, mustard and lemon peel and mix well. In medium bowl, combine remaining ingredients and toss with dressing. Chill for 1 hour and serve on lettuce lined plates


This simple salad is so easy to make on a hot summer day, because it needs no cooking. Use a melon baller instead of cutting the melons into pieces if you'd like
