TURKEY CHILI

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 small onions
  • 1 green pepper chopped
  • 1 clove of garlic (minced)
  • 3 cans of dark kidney beans - rinsed
  • 1 pouch chili seasoning (hot)
  • 1 large can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 can tomato paste
  • 1 diced tomato

Directions

  • Brown ground turkey in a large pot and drain fat, if any. Add onions and seasoning and cook for 2 minutes. Add chopped green pepper and garlic and cook for 2 minutes. Add chopped tomatoes and can of crushed tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes. Add 3 cans of rinsed kidney beans, tomato paste, and 1 cup of water and stir. Simmer chili for 30 minutes.
