Why I Love This Recipe

This was my late Grandma's recipe- It is the best stuffing that I have ever had or will ever make. Once you try this you will never go back.


Ingredients You'll Need

1 loaf of white bread (package left open overnight to dry out slightly or use day old bread)
1/4 cup butter
1 medium sized yellow onion, finely chopped
2 medium sized potatoes or 1 large (cooked and mashed)
2 envelopes of dried Summer savory
Salt and pepper to taste


Directions

Break bread into bite sized pieces, add all ingredients and mix together with hands in large bowl.


Bake in turkey- if you have any left over bake in a deep pan at 350 degrees for desired time. (I always add a bit of the turkey juice to pan when baked to add extra flavor)
