1 box German Chocolate cake mix
1 pkg. caramels
1/2 cup butter
1 can evaporated milk
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Mix cake according to directions.
Pour half of batter into 13x9" pan.
Bake 15 minutes.
Melt caramels with butter and milk.
Pour over cake.
Sprinkle with pecans and chocolate chips over the caramel layer.
Cover the rest of the batter and bake 15-20 minutes more.
Bake at 350F.
