BackstoryI saw this sauce on the TV show NapaStyle and now it's the only sauce I use for my baby back ribs. I also use it as a dipping sauce for my Alaskan King Crab legs.
- 1 cup honey
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup espresso
- 2 tblspns olive oil
- 2 tblspns minced garlic
- In a bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, vinegar, ketchup and espresso.
- Saute the garlic in the olive oil. Cook over low heat for about 1 minute or until it turns golden brown.
- Remove from heat and add the honey mixture.
- Simmer the honey mixture in a saucepan for about 15 minutes to blend the flavors.
