Two Tone Oven Fries
2 medium white or yukon gold potatoes (about 10 ounces total) -- cut into 4 x 1/2" strips
1 medium sweet potato (6-7 ounces) -- peeled and cut into 4 x 1/2" strips
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon salt
Place white and sweet potatoes in a ziploc bag. Drizzle oil over the potatoes in bag; sprinkle with salt. Close zipper to seal bag. Shake well to coat potatoes with oil.
Spray a baking pan with nonstick coating. Spread potatoes in a single layer. Bake in a 375 oven for 25-30 minutes or until lightly browned, turning potatoes twice with a metal spatula.
Serving Ideas : Herbed Two Tone Oven Fries: Prepare as directed, except sprinkle 1 tsp dried Italian seasonings.
Garlic Two Tone Oven Fries: Prepare as directed, except substitute garlic salt for salt.
