Serves 8 servings | Prep Time 15 min | Cook Time 30 min


1 tablespoon butter(homogeneous mixture)
1/2 cup chopped onion(heterogeneous mixture)
1 cup chopped celery(heterogeneous mixture)
6 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth(heterogeneous mixture)
half chopped cooked chicken breast(heterogeneous mixture)
4 cups egg noodles(homogeneous mixture)
1 cup sliced carrots(homogeneous mixture)
sprinkle of salt (pure substance),(NaCl) and ground black pepper (heterogeneous mixture)
for taste

Dice your vegetables, to quarter inch cuts

Add ingredients to broth with chicken

Turn on low

Wait thirty minutes

Serve one cup's worth.

I don't know where the recipe came from. It’s just chicken noodle soup. My dad makes it sometimes, and it tastes really good, and it’s made with lots of love .


The chicken and the celery,carrots,onions,broth,egg and noodles warming up after it’s heated in the pot, this is physical change. Another physical change is the chicken further separating once in the pot. My first chemical change is the change the plants had to make so they had the energy to make the vegetables (photosynthesis).

My second chemical change is what will be going on in the bodies of anyone who eats my soup (digestion), The cellulose in the carrot’s indigestible so it is fiber and will help “flush out your system”.
