UMM! THAT HIT THE SPOT CORNBREAD STUFFING

 

  • Cooking Time: 45 minutes
  • Servings: 16 servings
  • Preparation Time: 90 minutes

Ingredients

  • 2 Boxes Jiffy Cornbread Mix (follow directions on box)
  • 1 Chopped Onion
  • 8 Chopped Celery Sticks
  • 2 TBLSP Poultry seasoning
  • 2 TBLSP Sage
  • 1 TBLSP Black Pepper
  • Pinch of Salt
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 Cans Chicken Broth

Directions

  • Preheat oven 350 degrees
  • Bake cornbread.
  • Let Cool
  • Crumble after cooling.
  • Boil chopped onions, chopped celery, 1 tblsp poultry seasoning, 1tblsp sage,1/2 tblsp black pepper in 1 can of chicken broth.
  • Add veggies to cornbread.
  • Add remaining ingredients.
  • Bake in oven 45 minutes.

I love cooking for my family for the holidays. Making my own little perks to my recipes to make them want more and remember it for holidays to come. It is important for me to have the family together eating for the holidays. Nothing is like family being together smelling the aromas in the air and ready to dig in at meal time.
