Unstuffed Mushroom Dip

Ingredients

1 pound of white button mushrooms
1 cup shredded Jack cheese
1/4 cup of bacon, finely crumbled or bacon bits
1/2 cup sour cream
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
4 drops of hot sauce
seasoned bread crumbs ( did not use)


Combine the mushrooms, cheese and bacon. Stir in the sour cream. Mix well then blend in the worcestershire and hot sauce. Mix and place into a 1 qt casserole and top with the bread crumbs. Bake at 350 for about 15 minutes~


I cut the the mushrooms in 1/2 and I also mixed the sour cream, worcestershire and hot sauce together then added it to the dip. Buttered the pie plate and added some caramelized onions and some thyme to the mushroom mixture and also topped it with some chopped spinach ( right out of the oven) Mixed just to wilt the spinach.
