Vanilla Wafer Cake
A deep golden cake with a nutty appearance.
2 cups sugar
1 cup butter; cut into pats
1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup coconut
1 cup coarsely chopped nuts
1 box Nilla Vanilla Wafers (I have tried others, Nilla are the best)
Mix sugar, butter, eggs and milk together. Rub vanilla wafers together between your hands, so there will be some chunks (If you roll them out, it still works, but it is a completely different texture). Add coconut and nuts.
Butter and flour bundt pan or bread pans and add batter. Bake at 325F for 60-70. The top will have a deep golden nutty appearance when it's done.
